Prerequisites (ALL of the following):

• Completion of Paisano Tutoring Year 1 English or the equivalent phonetic/reading skills:

  Students must be at a reading level where they can competently read English words containing two vowels (words in which two vowels are divided by consonants and words with vowel blends). Paisano Tutoring students reach this level by the end of Year 1 English (completion of kindergarten); however, most students transferring to Paisano Tutoring after completing kindergarten or first grade at other schools are generally not at this reading level and must acquire these English language reading skills before being accepted into this course.

• One year of English completed at Paisano Tutoring (any level)

• Concurrent enrollment in Paisano Tutoring Early Elementary Core Subjects Class (Reading and Math: Monday through Friday), plus enrollment in a second hour for electives on Monday/Wednesday/Friday.

Schedule for Greek: Monday/Wednesday/Friday (20 minutes per day; 1 hour per week), as part of the student’s second hour for electives on Monday/Wednesday/Friday.

Cost: The cost of the Greek class is included in the student’s second-hour fee for Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
